Aloha and Mahalo "Lakes" Booster
The season has come to an end for the Lakestars this season but, we want to say to the fans and all who supported us throughout the year that we really appreciate you.
It has been a bumpy first season but, as we move forward I'm sure the future will be great for the Lakestars.
I want to thank the fans and the League for making me your bj league MVP of the week for April 18th & 19th.
It was a dream come true and I am very grateful to my teammates and coaching staff that they believed in me to get the job done.
Our last games in Okinawa were hard fought and we tried our best.
Okinawa is a great team and are deserving of the 1st place in the Western Conference.
They are a team that we can look to for inspiration and try our very best to emulate next season. We will work hard in the off season and we hope to see you next season.

ついに滋賀レイクスターズのシーズンが終わりを迎えました。
シーズンを通して応援してくださった皆さんや支えてくださった関係者の皆様には、ただただ感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
浮き沈みの激しいファーストシーズンでしたが、レイクスには素晴らしい未来が待ち構えていると確信しています。
また、４月１８日・１９日週の週間MVPに選ばれたことも、ブースターとｂｊリーグに感謝しています。
受賞できたことは夢のようですし、何よりもチームメイトとコーチングスタッフが僕を信じ、任せてくれたことをうれしく思います。
シーズン最終戦の沖縄戦は本当にハードな闘いでしたが、僕たちは全力でぶつかりました。
沖縄は本当に良いチームです。西地区１位にふさわしいチームだと思います。
多くのことが学べますし、見習うべきチームですね。
オフの間もしっかり練習して、来シーズンお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。

Aloha Lakes Boosters,
As the season is whining down the team is working harder and harder each day in practice.
We are preparing for Hamamatsu this week and we know they are a formidable opponent.
They have some outstanding players like, Sun Ming Ming and Michael Gardener but, we are getting ready to do battle with them.
I would like to thank all of the fans that made the trip down to Tokyo to see us tie with the Apache.
Its because of you that we go out and we fight everyday in practice and in the game.
The Lakestars need your support this week and we are going to try our very best to get two wins this week.

シーズンが進むにつれ、チームの練習も日々ハードになっています。
僕たちは今、今週末の浜松戦に向け準備をしています。
手強い相手であることはもちろんわかっています。
スン･ミンミンやマイケル・ガーデナーといった素晴らしい選手がいますが、迎え討つ準備はできています。
１勝１敗で乗り切ったアパッチ戦、東京まできてくれたブースターに感謝しています。
本当にありがとうございました。
僕たちが毎日練習や試合で闘っているのはみんながいるからです。
今週末も僕たちには声援が必要です。
もちろん２連勝するために全力を尽くします。

Aloha Lakes Boosters
Last week was a disappointing week for your Lakestars.
This team showed great resilience by getting back in the gym and working on fixing our mistakes.
We have a tough task at hand with Osaka coming up.
We know they are a force to be reckon with but, we will fight to stay in the hunt for the play offs.
Yesterday was an awesome day for me as well as you as booster's because the Shiga Lakestars are proudly presenting Bobby's LOCOMOCO.
It will be sold at the concession stands and believe they are great.
Please get one or even two!
They are great tasting and it makes good for any pregame meal, in game meal or anytime meal. These Loco Moco's will knock your socks off!
To all the boosters, sponsors and staff of the Shiga Lakestar's thank you very much for your help and support through out this first season.
We will continue to push ourselves to be the best and hopefully you will keep supporting us.

先週末はレイクスにとって残念な週末でした。
でも、すぐに練習で課題を修正し、今はもう万全の状態に回復しています。
今週末、僕たちは大阪というやっかいな相手を迎えることになります。
簡単な相手じゃないということはわかってますが、プレイオフ進出のためにも負けられません。
昨日は僕にとってとてもうれしい日でした。もちろんブースターのみんなにとっても。
なぜなら「Bobby's LOCOMOCO」が販売されることになったからです！
会場で販売される予定なんですが、本当においしいですよ。
是非一度、いや２度食べてもいいかも！
本当においしいんで、試合前でも試合中でもいつでも食べられます。
このロコモコは本当に最高です！
ブースター、スポンサー、レイクス関係者のみなさん、いつもたくさんの応援本当にありがとうございます。
僕たちはこれからも常に全力で戦いますので、これからもみなさんの熱い声援をよろしくお願いします。

On the rise

Hajimemashite Lakestars boosters,
Aloha Bobby Nash signing in... To the fans that came out to Sendai this week and survived the long drive we want to say thank you for loyal support.
We as players really enjoy having such a loyal fan base for being such a young franchise and we need your support.
Shiga Lakestar Boosters are number one in the bj league and to me.
Sendai 89ers was a very good team because they work so well with each other.
Bobby St. Preaux is an amazing shooter and Chris Holms is the league leader in rebounds.
They also have a lot of weapons that come off the bench and the point guard runs the team like a well oiled machine.
The first game was tough because they were at home and they got off to a rapid pace.
But, like coach say's the great thing about the bj league is you can wake up the next day and you get another chance.
Saturdays game we played extremely well together as a team and with the arrival of Machi, Yuta, Shinya and Bashi we are a force to be reckon with.
Although, no one impressed me more this week then Yuta with his in your face defense, Machi playing like the number one draft pick should and Bashi for having the most heart out of any Shiga Lakestar and going up amongst the trees and getting the biggest rebound of the night.
Shiga Lakestars Boosters we are a team on the rise but we need your continued support. Please come out and watch us I promise you won't leave disappointed.

アロハ、ボビー・ナッシュです。
遠く仙台まで応援に来てくれたブースターの皆さん、熱烈な応援ありがとうございました。
新規参入チームでこれだけの応援があることを心強く感じています。レイクスブースターはｂｊリーグで１番だと思います。もちろん僕にとっても。
仙台は本当に良いチームでした。特にチームワークが良かったですね。
ボビー・セント・プルー選手は素晴らしいシューターですし、クリス・ホルム選手はリバウンド数でリーグ１です。
他に、ベンチからも素晴らしい選手が出てきますし、ポイントガードの動きが特に良かったですね。
１試合目は、アウェイということもあり相手のペースにやられてしまいました。
しかし、いつもコーチが言うように、ｂｊリーグの良いところは、次の日起きるとすぐにやり返すチャンスがくるということです。
土曜日の試合はチーム一丸となって戦うことができ、マチ、ユウタ、シンヤ、バシの活躍もあり、本当に強いチームになっていました。
特に、ユウタのディフェンス、マチの期待どおりの働き、そして、バシの誰よりも強い気持ちと大きな選手に囲まれながらのリバウンド。
良い試合ができたと思います。
僕たちは今上り調子ですが、まだまだ皆さんの応援が必要です。
是非会場に応援に来てください。
必ず楽しませます！

The sky is the limit

Hey Fans,
This is Bobby Nash signing on for my second blog of the very young season.
We just got back from a very good road trip to Fukuoka and got our first and second wins.
I was so proud of my teammates for stepping up to the challenge, overcoming a 10 hour bus ride, injuries and a very good opponent in Fukuoka.
We all played our hearts outs and we showed the bj League that we are here and we are a force to be reckon with.
Each and every person on the Shiga Lakestars team from Coach Pierce to the team trainer Yoichi went the extra mile to get us prepared to win these games.
The Shiga Lakestars are now home and we have 2 games in Otsu and 2 games in Yasu.
The week of practice leading up to the Fukuoka wins were really good and we will do the same this week in preparation for Oita and Ryukyu next weekend.
We believe that if we continue to play hard, smart and together that we can accomplish great things.
We as players though need your support as boosters.
So, come to our games and support us because without you we are not the same players.
We will strive for excellence and do our best to get more wins but, we need you (as boosters), your support.
See you at the game.

Hey Fans,
２度目の投稿です。
初勝利と２連勝を引っさげて福岡から帰ってきました。
僕は本当にチームメイトのことを誇りに思っています。
さらに上を目指しての挑戦や１０時間を越えるバス移動、怪我、そしてライジング福岡という対戦相手、全てに打ち勝ってきました。
僕たちは気持ちを全面に出して戦い、ｂｊリーグに、レイクスが見過ごすことのできない存在であることを示すことができました。
ピアスコーチから竹内トレーナーまで、レイクスに関わる全てのチームスタッフのおかげで勝利を掴むことができました。
レイクスはいよいよホームに帰ってきました。
そして、大津で２試合、野洲で２試合あります。
福岡戦を勝利に導いた先週の練習は本当に充実していました。
大分を迎える今週も同じように準備をします。
そして、来週の琉球戦も。
僕たちは、ハードに、スマートに、そして一丸となって戦えば、大きなことを成し遂げられると信じています。
戦うのは僕たちですが、ブースターである皆さんのサポートが必要です。
試合に来て応援をお願いします。
皆さんの声援なしでは戦えません。
勝利のために全力で戦います。
