defense and offense

Hello, everyone.
I want to thank the fans and boosters who came to watch the games and those people supported us no matter where you were this past weekend. As a team we understand we need to be consistent throughout the game for 40 minutes. We want to be known as a team who stays consistent on defense and offense. There's some nights when we won't have it on the offensive end. As long as we're consistent on the defensive end we can create offense with playing great defense. Defense wins championship and we have to believe that. We have to commit to that end of the basketball and understand everyone plays a part in us becoming a great defensive team. And that is what was talked about in the meeting today and I wanted to share a little bit here.

やあ、みんな。福岡戦を会場で声援を送ってくれた応援してくれたブースターのみんな、会場にいなくてもレイクスを応援してくれたみんな、ありがとう。今回は40分間、チーム全員でやり抜くことの大切さを痛感した試合だったよ。僕たちはディフェンスでもオフェンスでも、みんなで同じやり方を貫かなきゃいけない。今までも攻撃でそれができない試合もあったけど、ディフェンスを頑張ることでオフェンスに繋がってくる。優れたディフェンスこそが僕らを勝利に導いてくれるし、僕たちはそれを信じぬかなきゃいけないんだ。それを実行し、チーム一人ひとりが役割を果たして、堅いディフェンスを作り上げる。それをミーティングで話し合ったよ。それをブースターのみんなにも知ってもらって、僕らのブログを楽しんでもらえたらいいな。じゃあ、またね！
