Lakes fans,

Thanks for an amazing year.
This was my first year of professional basketball and I am incredibly blessed to have played my first season with the Shiga Lakestars.

This year I feel like the Lakes family was great to me.
My immediate family, my brothers and sisters, were my teammates and the Lakes staff.
The extended family this year was definitely the fan, boosters and amazing people that were around the Lakes this year!
I want to thank all of my family from the bottom of my heart.
I hope that we get to have a family reunion with my family soon!!

Lakes fans,

皆さん、この１年間楽しい時間をありがとうございました。
今シーズンは僕にとってプロバスケ選手として１年目のシーズンでした。
その大事なシーズンをレイクスの一員としてプレーできたことは本当に幸運でした。

レイクスファミリーになれたということが何よりも幸せでした。
チームメイトやチームスタッフは僕の兄弟や姉妹、つまり肉親だと思っています。
もちろんブースターもレイクスを支えてくださった皆さんも同じ家族です。
この家族みんなに心から感謝しています。
またレイクスファミリーみんなで再会できることを楽しみにしています。

Playoffs!!!

This is what we have worked for all year and after 52 games it comes down to tomorrow.
It is very important and we will try our best.

I hope that many Lakes fans can come out to watch us and cheer us on.
We are working hard this week to get prepared and are preparing to go to Ariyake!!

Playoffs!!!

１シーズン５２試合をかけて、待ちに待ったPlayoffです。
本当に重要な試合、全力で戦います。

たくさんのレイクスブースターが応援に来てくれることを楽しみにしています。
明日明後日のためにしっかり準備してきましたし、有明に行く準備は整いました！！

Lakestars fans!

I want to thank you for being so welcoming and inviting to my fiance Hope.
She was at our Sunday game versus Okinawawa and she was very impressed with how great our fans are.

She really enjoying coming to the game.
She has been to a lot of my basketball games, but this is the first one she has been to in Japan.
Thanks for being awesome.

先週はフィアンセのホープが日本に来ていました。
温かく迎えてくださった皆さんありがとうございました。
琉球戦の日曜日の試合に観戦に来たんですが、皆さんの声援や会場の盛り上がりに感動していましたよ。

彼女はバスケの試合を観戦するのが好きで、学生時代から僕の試合によく観に来てくれていましたが、日本で観るのは初めてだったんです。
熱狂的な盛り上がりをありがとうございました。
僕も彼女もレイクスの一員であることが誇りです！

What an exciting weekend!!
I wish we would have had two wins, but the crowd was amazing last weekend and that made it so much fun to be there!!
We need your support for the last 4 home games this year so we can have great homecourt advantage!!

Ray and Sarah had their babies Solomon and Sophie and I went to visit them.
They are such great parents and I am lucky to be able to call them my friends.
I am so glad that I get to experience this with them here!!



Please keep cheering hard for us and we will keep playing hard as we work hard to make a run into the playoffs!!

What an exciting weekend!!
先週末は本当に連勝したかったですね。
でも、あのブースターの大声援の中でのプレーは本当に楽しかったです。
今シーズンのホームゲーム残り４試合も同じように熱い声援をお願いしますね。
そうすれば、それを後押しに僕たちは戦うことができます。

レイとサラの双子の赤ちゃんが産まれたので会いに行ってきましたよ。
彼らは本当に素敵な親になるでしょうね。
彼らと友人であることを誇りに思いますし、日本でこのような経験ができて幸せです。

僕たちはこれからもプレイオフに向けてまっしぐらに進んでいきますので引き続きブーストをよろしくお願いします。

Lakestar Fans. Sorry that I had to be out for a couple of weeks with the concussion injury.
Thanks to all of you for your concerns and questions about my injury while I was hurt. I really appreciate it.

It felt really good to be back on the court this weekend.
I am sorry that we did not get wins this weekend.
We are working very hard to improve from our mistakes and get ready for next weekend.
This is all part of a season.
It's like a quote I always like to read says.
Life is 10% what happens and 90% how you react to what happens.
We had some tough games this weekend and will continue to have tough games because the league is very good this year.
It happens, but we are reacting to this by working hard in practice and getting better so
that by the end of the year we can make the playoffs and be at our best to make a run at the championship!

It was so good to be back on the floor and playing in front of our great fans!!
The gym was really loud this weekend and it really pumped me up to do my best.
I am working hard this week while thinking of all the fans devotion to our game and putting in extra
effort because you all cheered extra for us.

Lakestar Fans.
脳震とうでしばらく休んでました。心配をおかけしました。
試合に出られない間、心配してくれたり色々と気にかけてくれてありがとうございました。
本当に感謝しています。
先週末はコートに戻れて幸せでした。
でも勝てなかったのは残念でしたね。
もちろん、先週末のミスを修正しながら今週末の大分戦に向けてハードワークしてますからね。
こういったことは長いシーズンのほんの一部ですからね。
僕の好きな言葉でもこんなものがあるんです。
「人生は、何が起こるかが１０％、そして起こったことにどう対処するかが９０％」
先週末は厳しい試合でしたが、今シーズンの各チームを見渡せば、こういった試合が続くことは間違いありません。
何が起こるかわかりません。
ただ、僕たちはハードワークを続けてプレイオフ進出を目指すだけです。

コートに戻れて、何よりレイクスブースターの前でプレーできたことが本当にうれしかったです。
体育館のあの大歓声はいつも僕の背中を押してくれます。
今週末もあの声援の中でプレーできると思うと練習にも力が入ります。
米原で会えるのを楽しみにしています！！
