This was a good week for me. My little brother is in town visiting me and he got a chance to come see us play this past weekend. I wish we could have gotten two wins instead of one but I am glad we were able to get a victory. I spend a lot of my time in my off days getting some workouts in with my wife trying to get better. Today I had a workout with my brother as well and it was nice because it was the first time I played basketball with him since the summer. I know the team doesn't have a good record but we cannot wake up tomorrow and be champions. We have to work hard one day at a time. As we continue to work hard, so many fans are encouraging and supporting us. For that I am extremely thankful and hope you will continue to come and watch us play and cheer us on. I promise that we will work very hard in practice to improve ourselves and strive to get more victories!

今週は私にとって良い1週間でした。私の弟が会いに来ていて、前節(秋田戦)の試合を観戦する機会がありました。できれば1勝ではなく2勝したかったですが、勝利を手にすることができて嬉しかったです。私は休日の多くの時間を妻と共にワークアウトして上達するよう努めています。今日は弟も一緒にワークアウトしたのですが、彼とバスケをするのは去年の夏以来だったので良い時間を過ごせました。チームの戦績が良くないのは承知ですが、朝起きたらチャンピオンになれるわけではありません。1日1日を大切に努力していかなければなりません。私たちが精進を続ける中、たくさんのファンの皆さんが励ましてくださり、応援してくださっています。それに対して私たちは非常に感謝していますし、皆さんに引き続きご来場いただき、ご声援を頂ければ幸いです。改善するためにハードに練習に取り組み、より多くの勝利を勝ち取ることができるよう努めて行くことをお約束します！

It's been a really long time since we had a game but we've been practicing almost everyday getting ready for the second half of the season. We have worked hard to get better and we're all excited to show that starting on Wednesday. We are ready to fight and so thankful for all the Lakestars fans that we know are behind us.

後半戦

しばらくゲームの間隔が空きましたが、その間もチームはほぼ毎日練習し、シーズン後半戦の準備をしてきました。向上するためにハードに取り組んできたところを、水曜日にようやくお見せできると思うと私たちもワクワクします。私たちの戦う準備はできました。そして全てのレイクスファンの皆さんが私たちの後ろ盾となって下さっていることに大変感謝致します。

Each and every single day at practice and in the games, we work hard to get better as a basketball team. One of my favorite things about our team is the fact that I get along with every single person. I play with good players and they are also good people. As 2016 is coming to an end I will continue to enjoy many moments on and off the court with my teammates and we will work hard to have more success in the new year!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all and as always thank you to all the Lakes fans for your support!!!

2016年ももう終わり

1日1日の練習や全ての試合の中で、私たちは常にバスケットボールチームとしてより素晴らしいチームになれるよう頑張っています。私がこのチームで大好きなことの１つはチームの全ての人と仲良くできることです。良いプレーヤーたちと一緒にプレーできているし、また彼らはいい人たちでもあります。2016年が終わりに近づくなかで、これからもチームメイトとコートの中でも外でも共に過ごす時間を楽しんでいきたいです。そして新年には更に成果を上げられるようにチームでハードに取り組んでいきます！！すべての皆さんにメリークリスマス！そして全てのレイクスファンの皆さん、いつも応援ありがとうございます！！！

The day before yesterday was the great American holiday called thanksgiving.. I had a wonderful time celebrating with my wife, Samba, and David's family. Thanksgiving is all about being thankful and I just want to let the fans of Shiga know that I am thankful for them. Your support is amazing and you have been with us through ups and downs! That is way I love putting on my #32 Lakestar jersey and fighting every game! I am also thankful for great teammates and staff. We are all ready for this weekend's games!

一昨日はサンクスギビングというアメリカの素晴らしい祝日でした。私は妻とサンバとデイビッドの家族と共に祝い素晴らしい時間を過ごせました。サンクスギビングとは感謝することに尽きます。滋賀ファンの皆さんにも私が皆さんに感謝していることをお伝えしたいです。皆さんの応援は最高です。私達が良い時も悪い時も常に一緒です！だから私は32番のレイクスのユニフォームを着て毎試合戦うことが大好きです！また、私は素晴らしいチームメイトやスタッフにも恵まれていることにも感謝しています。今週末の試合の準備は全員できています！

Right now it is no secret that the team does not have a good record. I am disappointed in how we have performed but I am not dwelling on the past. Our team will be at full strength very soon. Nobu will be coming back from his injury that has kept him out for a long time. We were without Daichi last game and that hurt our team as well. We have also added a new player to our team and he will only help add to our team moving in the right direction. I think we will have the chance to turn our season around and I am excited to play in these next games!

準備

現在チームの戦績が良くないのは一目瞭然です。私は私たちのこれまでのパフォーマンスにがっかりしていますが、過ぎたことに対してくよくよ考えてはいません。チームは間も無く全力が出せる状態になります。ノブはしばらく怪我によりプレーできていませんでしたが、もうすぐ戻ってきます。前回の試合は大地がいなかったことも痛手となりました。また、新選手がチームに加わり、チームが正しい方向に進む手助けになることは間違いありません。私たちには私たちのシーズンをひっくり返すチャンスが必ずある、と私は信じていますし、私は次節の試合でプレーすることに興奮しています。
