Hello Lakes boosters.
I'm so glad that we had the turn out we did last weekend in our opening
games. We needed every last one of you to pull those wins out!
But I just want to tell you about an experience I had yesterday at a school. Me
and my teammate Rin went to visit Higashiomikotodaisan middle school where
we were greeted by the principle and 36 kids and there parents! It's was
very cool event the kids and parents were very welcoming to me and Rin and
we just had a blast! We or should say Head Coach Rin put the kids through a
lot of drills! We did a lot of ball handling as well as ball control drills.
We had a few racing drills and then finished up with shooting!!
The purpose of the event was to get the parents and the kids to really spend
some extra time together! As we'll take a look into the lives of us as
professional basketball players. I really was touched by the event because I
have 2 kids of my own and what I wouldn't do to have them here with me right
now I can't even explain. But all in all the event was a success and we hope
to see those kids and parent at the game we play out in that area!
But please continue to support the team and everything we do!

先週末の開幕戦、2連勝スタートが切れて最高です。
これかも引き続きブーストよろしくお願いします。
昨日リンと行ってきたJA共済presentsレイクスキャラバンについて書きたいと思います。
昨日は東近江市立湖東第三小学校に行ってきました。
校長先生、36人の子供たち、そして親御さんたちが盛大に迎えてくださって、子供たちと楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
”リンヘッドコーチ”は子供たちに様々なドリブルのスキルを教えて、他にもドリブルレースやシュートのメニューを行いました。
JA共済presentsレイクスキャラバンは子供たちがプロ選手と交流を深めるイベントです。
僕も二人の子供を持つ親として色々と思うところがありました。今は自分の子どもには何もしてやれませんが、プロ選手として地域の子どもたちのためにできることがあるのはうれしいことです。本当に楽しんで参加することができましたし、皆さん楽しんでもらえたんじゃないかと思います。
次は是非、試合会場で僕らのプレイを皆さんに見てほしいです。
これからも引き続き熱い声援、サポートよろしくお願いします！
