Hey Lakes boosters,
Thanks for supporting us so well against Hamamatsu last weekend.
The games were exciting, Sun Ming Ming is a large human being!
Our win on Sunday was very important, it will give us some momentum going into our games this weekend in Maibara against Toyama.
We are practicing hard, I think we will be very focused for this weekend.

My friends are in town now so I've been busy showing them my favorite spots.
On Monday we went to Arashiyama to the Monkey Park.
It was so much fun, I love monkeys!
At the top of the mountain that you climb you go inside a house and you can feed the monkeys through a cage.
My favorite monkey was a really fat one, it reminded me of Jabba the Hut from Star Wars.
He was always screaming for more peanuts.
I told him he needs to go on a diet, but I don't think he listened haha.

Tuesday night after practice all the Americans went out to Hana Touro in Kyoto.
It was really beautiful. We walked all over the Gion district.
My friends were hoping to see some Geisha's but unfortunately we did not.
Ray got a lot of stares, and a couple laughs, because he wore his kimono.
It's an authentic kimono so it's a little short.
It stopped around his knees! My friends are having a great time in Shiga and Kyoto.
They love Japan.

浜松戦の声援ありがとうございました。
楽しい試合でしたね。
スン・ミンミンはデカイ生き物でした。

日曜日の勝ちは本当に大きかったです。
これで、今週末の米原での富山戦に向けて勢いがつきました。
練習もハードにしていますし、今週末に向けて集中できています。

実は今、友達が来ているので、お気に入りの場所に連れて回ってるんですよ。
月曜日には嵐山のモンキーパークに行きました。
むちゃくちゃ楽しかったですよ。サル最高です！
サル山の上の小屋で柵越しに餌をやったんですが、お気に入りのサルは太ってて、スターウォーズの「ジャバ・ザ・ハット」を思い出しました。
ずっと、ピーナッツをくれ、って叫んでたのでダイエットを勧めたんですが、多分聞いてないでしょうね（笑）

火曜日の夜は、練習後にアメリカ人選手全員で京都の花灯路に行きました。
とてもキレイでしたね。
祇園の町並みを散策していて、僕の友達が芸者を見たがってたんですが残念ながら会えませんでした。
レイはレイで、着物を着ていたので、行き交う人々から注目を浴びていましたね。
本物の着物だったので少し小さかったみたいで、膝が自由に動かせなかったみたいです。
僕の友達は滋賀と京都を本当に楽しんでいます。
日本が気に入ってるみたいです。
