My teammates and I are very determined this weekend facing Kyoto. 2 wins this weekend is our mindset. When we set goals for ourselves as a team we need to go after that goal as hard as possible to make it happen. It's not good enough for us to be a mediocre team. We know we're just as good as the top teams in the west such as Okinawa, Hamamatsu and Kyoto. We have proven that with wins against both Okinawa and Hamamatsu. We have to prove it again this weekend by playing Shiga basketball and fighting til the end!

僕たちは今週末、ついに京都と対戦するよ。
もちろん、勝つことしか考えていない。そのために僕たちはすべてを出し切らないといけない。
レイクスはありふれた平凡なチームじゃない。沖縄、浜松、京都のように、ウェスタンカンファレンスの上位チームにも負けないと思っている。実際、沖縄や浜松からも勝利を挙げているしね。
今週、僕たちはそれを再び証明してみせるよ。レイクスのバスケをして、最後まで戦い続けることでね。
