Hello Lakestar boosters!!!
I wanted to take some time to introduce myself to you.

My name is Luke Zeller, I just graduated from the University of Notre Dame and played in summer league for the Bulls before coming here.
I grew up in Washington, Indiana - a very small town of only about 11,000 people.
The first night I got to Otsu, Japan and my apartment I felt like I was in a very small town.
I have since found out that Otsu is a large town, but I have also found that it has some great small town qualities to it that remind me of home.

The people are all incredibly nice.
Everyone I have seen here has been very friendly, even if my Japanese is not very good and I can't tell them that.
The people all seem to care about others so very much.
They have a lot of respect, honor, and dignity for the people around them.
These are all qualities I admire and pursue daily myself.

There's a little about myself.
I am glad to be a part of the Shiga Lakestars and look forward to an exciting year!!

レイクスブースターの皆さん、こんばんは。
まずは自己紹介を。

名前はルーク・ゼラー。ノートルダム大学を卒業したばかりで、日本に来るまでシカゴ・ブルズのサマーリーグに参加していました。
インディアナ州のワシントンという、１万１千人ぐらいしかいない小さな町で育ちました。
初めて大津に来た夜、とても小さな町に来たんだという感じがしていました。
でも、実際には大津は大きな町ですよね。
ただ、故郷を思い出させるような小さな町の良さもたくさんあると思います。

皆さんとても良い人たちばかりで、日本語がわからず何も伝えられない僕にみんな親切にしてくれます。
誰もが思いやりを持って、周りの人たちのことを気遣っているように思います。
僕が日頃から大切にしたいと思っている、人に対する敬意や誠実さが溢れています。

自己紹介はこれぐらいで。
滋賀レイクスターズの一員になれたことを本当に嬉しく思っていますし、この１年が楽しみです！！！
