my first mochi

This New Years break was a good time to spend with my family and get ready for the second half of the season.

I was honored to spend the 3rd making my first mochi over at the Shiga Daihatsu Hikone and Yellow Hat Omihachiman car lot.
Although it was a work out hammering the rice, the after product was so tasty.
The tradition of making mochi was a great way to spend my first week of the 2011 and plus I got to see many Lakes Boosters and wish them a "happy new year"

この正月休みは有意義な時間を過ごせました。
家族との時間もありましたし、シーズン後半戦に向けた準備もできました。



昨日は、滋賀ダイハツ彦根店とイエローハット近江八幡店で初めての餅つきも体験できました。
杵で餅をつく作業は本当にハードでしたね。でもできあがったお餅は最高においしかったですよ。


2011年をこの日本の伝統的な餅つきで迎えることができたのは本当に良かったです。
たくさんのレイクスブースターにも新年の挨拶ができましたからね。

滋賀ダイハツの皆さん、素敵な思い出をありがとうございました。
